I like to eat places a couple times before I give a review. Gives me a trend to review and not just one sitting where my waiter may have been having a rough day or may be new. That being said, this place is amazing. I've eaten both at the hibachi grill and just the restaurant and both are great. The service is good and the food is delicious. The variety you have to choose from is simply amazing for Nebraska. The picture is from the hibachi grill; it is the fillet mignon and scallops. It is fun and they have big portions (it costs for an extra plate haha they are smart) the sushi is also good. I recommend this place to my friends all the time! PS - get extra sexy sauce.

Just tried to have a nice hibachi lunch with my husband. We asked for a Sapporo. Showed our ID (driver's license from PUERTO RICO) and they told us that Nebraska has this "law" that the licenses needed to be from continental US. We explained that as Puertorricans, we are AMERICAN CITIZENS and we just moved to NE. In addition we've bought alcohol in other places IN Nebraska and we've never had that issue before. Ironically, they are JAPANESE based....so they do need a passport to get in here....and to get to PUERTO RICO.... Shame on the ignorance.... Of course...we left and went to Olive Garden...Cheers!

For everyone in Grand Island and the surrounding areas you are missing out by not coming here! It's a show and great food all at the same time! People say pricey but for the experience it's well worth it! Great to see something like this in Grand Island :). P.S. Try the yum yum roll ;)

I needed to do homework, and I was hungry for sushi, so I chose Fuji. I assume that one of the employees kids were running around the restaurant which was a little annoying since I was trying to concentrate; so I plugged my head phones in... no big deal. I ordered salmon sashimi, white tuna sushi, and some edamame. I am not sure where their chef learned to cut sashimi or maybe it is a local thing, but I was served 2 LARGE cuts of raw salmon. The white tuna was on the yellow side, looked a bit dry, and smelled a tinge old. I was satisfied with the salmon though, therefore I ordered another 2 LARGE pieces. In the end, I probably won't go back.

Best Japanese restaurant I've been to. Very neat to watch the food cooked in front of you at the Hibachi grills. The cooks are very child friendly, and they interact with you during their routines by tossing bits of egg into your mouth. It's all around a great experience.

Recently ate with my wife at Fuji and I have to say I had a great time. It was something different that you do not see very much in the Tri-Cities in Nebraska. The food was good the service could have been a bit better but all in all good experience.
